2 DAYS!!!

Holy Cow! I can't even begin to describe how excited I am to be going! I hope no one is offended if I don't miss you for a few months or years. Ha ha! I feel like I've been in limbo for so long that it will a wonderful change to have a schedule and to be busy again.

In the past few days I keep getting asked the exact same questions so I'm going to put some FAQ's on here to put everyone at ease.

1. Are you excited? - What kind of question is that?! I think people just don't know what else to ask. Ha ha! OF COURSE I"M EXCITED!!!!! I'm going to live in England for 18 months and spend all of my time preaching the Gospel. I can't think of anything more exciting than that!

2. Are you ready? I've been ready to go for 4 months! Prepared? Yeah....I don't know if anyone is ever fully prepared for a mission. That's why we have MTC"s (:

3. Are you nervous? NOPE! The plane ride over will be a little tricky since I'm inexperienced with flying, but airports are crawling with people so it's not like I'm having to navigate my way through the jungle by myself.
And I know that as long as I am completely obedient and have the Spirit with me I will be guided as I teach people. That's what is great about the Spirit. You can be given everything you need to say. As a missionary I will simply be an instrument. I'm not going to be the one trying to convert people, but rather the Spirit will be bearing witness through me. It's going to knock their socks off! Ha ha!

    Whoo hoo! I'm so excited for you! What an adventure! I made your french bread last night and it turned out great. Thanks! Also, I'm working on posting pics of our trip on my blog so check it tomorrow before you leave if you want to see them. :) Best of luck Linz! I'm so proud of you and you'll be in my prayers!

Gee whiz, it has been several years since I personally posted anything on this blog.  I don't even know if anyone evens looks at it, but hey, that's okay. I am starting my 8th semester of university and I am taking a class where I have to keep a daily journal.  I just have to write about something that happened to me that day. When it Rains it Pours

Day 4: Thursday, 18 September 2014 Today was my first day going to my Digital Imaging class, taught by Sis. Caryn Esplin.  I am so excited for this class. The homework is just going to be fun stuff!  I took a class last winter from Sister Esplin and she is amazing! She is my career role model. I want to be just like her some day!  When I took her class in the winter, I received several awards from her because she liked my work so well.  Today, I again impressed her as I was able to recite back every person’s name back after we all introduced ourselves. There were only about 27 kids in the class so it was easy. I just have a good memory. So I won the Bright Idea award (a light bulb jar filled with M&Ms).  Anyways, about an hour after class, Sister Esplin called me and asked me if I would like to be her TA for one of her classes! I headed to school this morning at 7:45am. I wasn't sure what the temperature was, but I realized it was in the negatives when I could feel my boogers freezing in my nose. I know it sounds gross, but you literally can feel your nose hairs become stiff as the moisture in your nose begins to freeze. It's quite the sensation. So I have my hood up to keep my ears and face warmer and there is a slight breeze, which makes it even colder! I had only been walking about 3 minutes when I noticed that the ends of my hair to my left was looking really white. As I looked closer, I realized that frost was collecting on my hair! I'm not quite sure why this happened. I had straightened my hair today, so it more dry than wet. The only thing I can think of, is that the moisture from my breath must have been collecting on the ends of my hair closest to my face.
