Aiming High 7/30/12

Howdy ho!  I'm glad you guys are getting some rain over there because we've been having some nice sunshine (:  I have quite a strange tan line on my feet because of my shoes. Sis.Benson says I have monkey feet because my toes are all white and the top of my foot is really brown.  I feel very tan in this country because everyone is so white from the lack of sun.  But it has been another good week.  We actually didn't go on exchange because the other sisters got sick.  We're planning on going this week, but I am not too sure because one of them was still sick yesterday, but we'll see. This transfer our district set goals to reach and I just know that we are going to reach them this week.  Last week we got really close, but this time we're going to do it!  Pres.Ogden had set a standard of excellence that we are always striving to reach and when I first came here it seemed impossible to reach it, but now it is totally possible.  It is r...

Man, the weeks sure fly by and now I have been out 4 months!  It is just crazy how fast it's going.  Only a couple more weeks until next transfers.  Our district has set goals together for this tranfer and I am really excited for this coming week because I really think we might be able to reach them this week.  We have a lot of appointments that I am really excited for.   On Friday, after weekly planning, everything seriously fell through.  We were supposed to have dinner and a lesson with Sarah Morgan, but she flogged. Aled's Baptism was awesome! It was a little crazy at first because despite what we told him, he showed up in a track suit with bright blue boxers and no extra clothes.  But in the end we got some white things sorted out and it turned out to be really nice.  We sang Called to Serve and Battle Hymn of the Republic and I played the piano and also gave a talk.  He didn't have any friends or family show up so there were a few ward members and it was just good.  I've been to some baptisms where it is all just a big party, but this was nice because we could really feel the spirit.  Aled had to get dunked twice because his knee came up.  Yeah, it was such a good feeling to see him.  Then on Sunday Diego brought Aled a suit to wear for his confirmation and looked good.  Diego is an RM from the London South Mission and has been teaching Aled with us, so he was the one to baptize him.  Diego is just awesome!   Yeah, I've realized that my mis...
