Lindsey Land (:

These are three of my five roomates, Caralee Cheney, Karen Wilhelm, and Julianne Law. Both Caralee and Julianne are freshmen and the four of us get along really well. Caralee is basically the mom of the apartment. She is off-track right now, so she has plenty of time to keep the apartment clean and makes sure everyone obeys the honor-code. Ha ha! She is also the one who wants to get married the most. She's always looking at the wedding ring ads we get in the mail sometimes. Ha ha! Julianne is way awesome! She is real funny and nice. I think she and Karen are pretty similar. They both play basketball, the violin, and they both have chill personalities. My other two roomies are real petite girls that are always out every night until midnight. I'll talk about them more if they are ever around for me to catch a picture of them :)

I must admit that I hated it when I first got here. I was sad to leave to comfort and familiarity of Provo. This was the 3rd time I've moved in a year, and each time it is just as sad as the last. I've realized that I am very much a people person. I love interacting with people, working with them, and I also get attached to them. So it is always painful to leave and start over. Now I have have finished my 4th week being here and I am coming to love BYU-Idaho. There is a different spirit here than at Provo. The kids here are so much more grateful to be here than those at Provo. I always took for granted what a wonderful blessing it was to be going to a church school. But the people here have made me realize just how truly blessed I am. I am loving my classes. I think the classes here actually require more from you than some at Provo. In most of my classes in the past, I would just show up in a big class room, take notes, take a test every few weeks, and maybe write ...

So, this is me. Like 16 years ago. Ha ha! I've never done a blog, so here we go. I'm not exactly sure what the purpose will be of this blog, but it will be whatever I feel like. Ha! The reason why I named it Lindsey Land is because sometimes I zone out and don't pay attention to what my roomates are saying, and then I accidently butt into a conversation with my own random thought. We've started calling this Lindsey Land. That's where I go when I day dream or just when I loose attention and stare off into space. Ha ha! So that's why I named my blog Lindsey Land. Welcome! You are in a pretty magical place. Ha ha!
