34 Days!





Well, the days are still crawling by even though I wish they were running. Only 5 more weeks! Whoo hoo! It doesn't sound very long, but it will be.

Today was an overcast day and just kind of pretty so I took my camera out. I just wish I had people I could take pictures of instead of the cat. I'm thinking about asking around and see if any of the high school kids would let me take some senior pictures for free. I think it would be a blast!

I hope everyone had a terrific Valentines day! Mine was actually a blast. It snowed a bunch, but I spent the whole day in 2nd grade and we had a fun party that afternoon. I turned on some fun music and we had our own little dance party (: When i came home for lunch, I was surprised to find a large bouquet of flowers for me. They are from my friend Stuart in Provo. He's the type of guy that buys people things to show his appreciation, so it was totally a friendly gesture. I've definitely had some rough times with Stuart and it truly is nice to know that all of my efforts weren't a waste. I ended my day with watching Phantom of the Opera in my room. I sure love that movie! It makes me cry every time (:

If you can't tell, I'm a bit bored right now. I have to get creative to find things to occupy my time. I've even picked up the organ (not literally) and I'm not half bad. Yep, definitely going crazy (:

    Wow that was thoughtful of Stu! Taking pictures of the cat....yeah you are definitely too bored :) we will have to fix that next week. Hope you have a blast in Utah this weekend.

Gee whiz, it has been several years since I personally posted anything on this blog.  I don't even know if anyone evens looks at it, but hey, that's okay. When it Rains it Pours

Day 4: Thursday, 18 September 2014 Today was my first day going to my Digital Imaging class, taught by Sis. Caryn Esplin.  I am so excited for this class. The homework is just going to be fun stuff!  I took a class last winter from Sister Esplin and she is amazing! She is my career role model. I want to be just like her some day!  When I took her class in the winter, I received several awards from her because she liked my work so well.  Today, I again impressed her as I was able to recite back every person’s name back after we all introduced ourselves. There were only about 27 kids in the class so it was easy. I just have a good memory. So I won the Bright Idea award (a light bulb jar filled with M&Ms).  Anyways, about an hour after class, Sister Esplin called me and asked me if I would like to be her TA for one of her classes! I headed to school this morning at 7:45am. I wasn't sure what the temperature was, but I realized it was in the negatives when I could feel my boogers freezing in my nose. I know it sounds gross, but you literally can feel your nose hairs become stiff as the moisture in your nose begins to freeze. It's quite the sensation. So I have my hood up to keep my ears and face warmer and there is a slight breeze, which makes it even colder! I had only been walking about 3 minutes when I noticed that the ends of my hair to my left was looking really white. As I looked closer, I realized that frost was collecting on my hair! I'm not quite sure why this happened. I had straightened my hair today, so it more dry than wet. The only thing I can think of, is that the moisture from my breath must have been collecting on the ends of my hair closest to my face.
