WE GOT A CAT!!!

So we got another kitty! Woo who! Last Friday we had stopped at Aunt Peggy's house on the way to the temple. They had this really nice cat and when Mom commented on it, Aunt Peggy asked if we wanted him. Apparently Garret had found him way outside of town and rescued him. They think someone had dropped him off for the coyotes to get.

We kind of need a cat around the house to keep away the mice and hopefully the rabbits. This morning after I went to the temple with Spencer we picked him up and brought him home.
He's really friendly and I just love him already (: It's like Christmas all over again! Michelle likes him too and wants to name him Joe. I like it!
Dad even said Joe is ok. Looks like we have a keeper (:

Gee whiz, it has been several years since I personally posted anything on this blog.  I don't even know if anyone evens looks at it, but hey, that's okay. I am starting my 8th semester of university and I am taking a class where I have to keep a daily journal.  I just have to write about something that happened to me that day. When it Rains it Pours

Day 4: Thursday, 18 September 2014 Today was my first day going to my Digital Imaging class, taught by Sis. Caryn Esplin.  I am so excited for this class. The homework is just going to be fun stuff!  I took a class last winter from Sister Esplin and she is amazing! She is my career role model. I want to be just like her some day!  When I took her class in the winter, I received several awards from her because she liked my work so well.  Today, I again impressed her as I was able to recite back every person’s name back after we all introduced ourselves. There were only about 27 kids in the class so it was easy. I just have a good memory. So I won the Bright Idea award (a light bulb jar filled with M&Ms).  Anyways, about an hour after class, Sister Esplin called me and asked me if I would like to be her TA for one of her classes! I headed to school this morning at 7:45am. I wasn't sure what the temperature was, but I realized it was in the negatives when I could feel my boogers freezing in my nose. I know it sounds gross, but you literally can feel your nose hairs become stiff as the moisture in your nose begins to freeze. It's quite the sensation. So I have my hood up to keep my ears and face warmer and there is a slight breeze, which makes it even colder! I had only been walking about 3 minutes when I noticed that the ends of my hair to my left was looking really white. As I looked closer, I realized that frost was collecting on my hair! I'm not quite sure why this happened. I had straightened my hair today, so it more dry than wet. The only thing I can think of, is that the moisture from my breath must have been collecting on the ends of my hair closest to my face.
